"Charlie Burgers"

Oh, I get it, it was all a shaggy dog story. Har har har. Still, a pretty thorough study of the baffling logic that drives Uncle Grandpa's world - everything was resolved with the solution proposed at the beginning, by ignoring the voluntary restriction that escalated the plot in the first place. Of course, in doing so, the objective was lost...which ultimately didn't have any negative impact on the resolution. Then, on an attempt to repeat the same experiment (with one minor parameter change), the Earth blew up. The rules of reality either aren't consistent over time or so complex as to obscure the patterns. Looking at the entire episode, this could be the definitive shaggy dog story - and I can only hope they started from the visual pun and worked backward. Never underestimate the value of a really vile groaner to an animated short - they just seem to go.

Also, I'm completely stumped on this one - is Mr. Gus changing size? Within the world itself, does his size vary at all - in the "Workout" short, is he wiping out a miniature civilization similar to the parade-holding (presumably) sentient ants or particularly well-made models, and is what we see just relative scale (hurr hurr)? Does his size depend on whether or not the other characters need to interact with him, in-universe? Brain Game suggests Uncle Grandpa (or an Uncle Grandpa?) is creating the entire show on the fly - it's already canon he can manipulate the zoom controls (from an upper tier of reality) and the perspective (from within the current one) as the plot demands. I'm starting to suspect this universe doesn't work like Dog City, but lies somewhere between Delta State and The Maxx. You know, but zany.
