Well, it took about two minutes to commit the thumb motions to restart-reload in Fire Emblem: Awakening to muscle memory. My new(ly refurbished) original-style 3DS (awesome present, and Project X Zone was *half price* for Boxing Day) has taken over as the reason for the blog's continued neglect.
2014 is looking to be a very good year for Pinball Arcade, with Season 3 opening with my all-time favourite table Fish Tales and going on to include Junk Yard(!) and Black Knight 2000 - and with TPA still supported for PS3, I can go on avoiding upgrading.
Pinball After Dark sounds curious for the potential of Big Bang Bar making an appearance - although I'm not particularly excited about the also-possible South Park, Stern Playboy and Family Guy tables. Nostalgia can only overcome so much mediocrity, and of those only South Park is even old enough to qualify for it (and even then doesn't merit much, being based on the show *before* the long good stretch).
